Microchipped 13.2hh bright bay 20 year old pony taken from his field nr Ashbourne, Derbyshire on Saturday 2nd.

Seven ponies / horses kept in a field and only Oscar (Hollybrook Fortune Cookie) was stolen. The ponies were not visible from any lanes / roads. The ponies were in a paddock sectioned off with electric tape at the top of a 7 acre field, when checked at 10am on Saturday 2nd July the tape was intact. At 6.15pm, the tape was snapped in one place and two plastic posts also snapped off.
Six ponies were quietly grazing at the bottom of the 7 acre field. The electric tape was still switched on at the battery energiser. No sign of tampering with the two locks on the main access gate and & no evidence of broken fence/ hedges where the pony could have left the field of his own accord. My pony is of a nervous disposition and would not have been easy to catch by a stranger but I believe he was led through the foot path gate and off my land.
