At findmetherighthorse.co.uk, we want to
help you get the best from your new ideal horse or pony for you so we've
put together these rules of thumb for you to keep in mind.

Like women buying shoes, all too often it's easy
to see the first one - fall in love with it and want to buy it! We suggest
you visit and try several to make comparisons before you commit to a
purchase, even if, like women buying shoes, you return to the first
one!
Don't be afraid to ask! You wouldn't buy a car without
knowing its history, so ask about what the animal has done? Is it good
to box, shoe, clip, hack out etc.

Make a bid and barter! Just because an advert gives
a price doesn't mean that an offer might not be accepted. It's only
worth what someone is willing to pay for it! You have nothing to lose,
the vendor can only say no. But remember, realistic offers
are much more likely to get you taken seriously!

Don't rush, the vendor may tell you they have someone
else interested in the animal, and they probably have, but don't be
forced into a purchase. Take your time. You are about to make a long
term investment.
Do make sure you know what you are buying. Is tack, rugs
etc included? Probably not these days, but some people still occasionally
sell with tack etc.
Check out the animal's history. You can get print outs
of the animal's achievements from the various organisations, BSJA, BD
etc - If you need help on this then give us a call.
Need more advice then just ask! 07939 691667 or email.
We will be happy to help you find the right horse!
